Kick-Off 2016 at Hôtel Sacacomie

Friday, January 29, 2016

Pro Vie Insurance started 2016 in style with its “Kick-Off 2016,” an event celebrated by our employees and partners. On January 21, 2016, 180 people got together for an evening celebration at Hôtel Sacacomie, in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts. Christian Laroche, president of Pro Vie Insurance, kicked things off with a speech to the troops gathered. With his customary warmth and enthusiasm, Christian welcomed everyone to the event and congratulated the brokers for the firm’s excellent results in 2015. He also announced that 2016 would be a banner year, outlining the possibility of more acquisitions and the return of the Top15 Contest.

The Pursuit of Excellence and Expertise

Michel Piette held court in the afternoon, presenting his “PX30 Principal” conference to the group. A successful entrepreneur, Michel motivated his brokers to keep striving for excellence in their work and have some fun so they can thrive in their chosen field. His reasoning stems from a shared objective: Striving to achieve a better tomorrow. Michel believes that being eager to learn and channelling your curiosity to keep developing your expertise is a proven way to improve our life situation. As an example, Michel discussed the training sessions offered by Pro Vie Insurance, a sure-fire way to gain knowledge while earning PDUs free of charge. The brokers seemed to appreciate the conference, and were especially receptive to the unfortunate ordeal Michel’s family had to endure. Undaunted, Michel came through this humbling journey a stronger man.

Cocktail Reception and Networking

The Pro Vie Insurance Kick-Off 2016 ended with a cocktail reception in the Hôtel Sacacomie dining hall. Amid a charming decor with a breathtaking view, brokers and employees discussed the challenges that lay ahead in 2016.

In short, the event was a resounding success for brokers, who left armed with updated tools, and for Pro Vie Insurance, which met with partners to get their feedback on a variety of issues.
